Police in Córdoba have located the lifeless body of the youth who disappeared while swimming in the rio Guadalquivir.
The body was found near the Botanical Garden, about fifty metres from where he disappeared. The water in this area is muddy and visibility is poor.
Bathing is not permitted in the river and there has been some criticism at the lack signs prohibiting swimming.
