Friday September 12th 2014 sees the end of the extra midday collections of non-organic rubbish in the central streets of Nerja, namely calle Diputación, calle Carmen, calle Puerta del Mar, calle Pintada, calle La Cruz and calle Angustias.
The extra collections are an annual feature, beginning in June, in order to prevent the build up of unsightly waste in the centre of town. From now on it is back to normal for businesses.
