A twelve storey apartment block and two discos in Fuengirola were evacuated early on Sunday morning following a fire at a restaurant.
The fire began at 04:20 at a restaurant in calle Jacinto Benavente and the evacuations were carried out as a precautionary measure.
No-one was injured in the incident but the restaurant and cars parked nearby suffered damage. Residents were allowed to return to their homes at 05:20 once the Fire Brigade had extinguished the blaze.
