A man was injured on Wednesday evening when his car fell onto the railway tracks in Mengíbar, Jaén.
The incident occurred at 18:50 in calle Extramuros in Artichuela when the car fell onto the railway tracks. The reasons for the accident are not yet known. The driver was transferred to hospital.
The accident caused the halting of a train between Jaén and Espeluy, the passengers being transshipped by bus.
