The 77-year-old man who was seriously injured following a brutal beating on Saturday in La Linea de la Concepción has died from his injuries.
The man was admitted to hospital with very serious injuries but failed to recover.
Two people, aged 14 and 16 years, have appeared in court as the alleged perpetrators of the assault and are now out on bail pending further proceedings.
