Work has started in calle Iglesia and calle Tajillo – behind the church on the Balcón de Europa – and is expected to take the usual four months to complete.
You can still walk down the street at the moment.
Quite amusing to watch the bag sellers scuttling off to hide behind kiosks and the like when a police patrol passes by. Trouble is there just seems to be the one single patrol covering the whole town. Used to be quite a few out and about but since all the internal wranglings and disputes, two is about the maximum. Plus the two on the motorbikes. I think there are supposed to be about thirty of them all together.
