A 14-year-old boy died and his father was injured when the vehicle in which they were travelling was hit by a train at a level crossing situated between Gibraleón and Calañas in Huelva province.
The accident occurred at 11:55 on Sunday morning when the Huelva to Madrid train hit the car on the level crossing, causing the vehicle to roll.
The father was seriously injured in the incident and is now in hospital. The father and son are residents of Calañas.
