A Brazilian woman is in a serious but stable condition in hospital after being stabbed five times at her home in Puerto Banus, Marbella.
The incident occurred at around 07:00 on Tuesday morning, the woman receiving five stab wounds including to the chest and in one eye. She was taken to the Costa del Sol hospital in Marbella.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
