Another fire in Córdoba, this time resulting in injuries to a 91-year-old man who is now in the Reina Sofia hospital in the capital suffering from burns and smoke inhalation.
The fire occurred at around 10:20 on Saturday in a four-storey block in calle Loja in the Barriada del Guadalquivir district of Córdoba city.
The man was trapped by the fire and had to be rescued by firefighters. Although his burns are said to be minor, the smoke inhalation was very serious.
