Nine people, six adults and three children, are in hospital in Jerez de la Frontera after being overcome by carbon monoxide fumes from a coal fire at their home on the El Portal estate in Jerez.
The Emergency Services were notified at 06:10 and they found nine people suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning. A coal fire is thought to have been the cause of the incident.
