Occupancy rates in rural accommodation in Andalucia over New Year have averaged 85% according to the Andalucian Network of Rural Accommodation (RAAR).
The Network has around 150 rural houses and hotels and reports that more than half have 100% occupancy and three-quarters have 70% occupancy.
Larger homes are the most popular due to the trend for large family gatherings over the festive period, so hotels and smaller houses have not done as well.
