Guardia Civil officers have seized 630 kilos of hashish being transported by car in San Roque, Cádiz province.
The officers noticed a suspicious vehicle about to join the A-7 which then prompted the driver to abandon the vehicle and flee the scene across fields.
An inspection of the vehicle, registered in Portugal, resulted in the discovery of 21 bundles of hashish weighing a total of 630 kilos.
