Council wants hotels to be allowed to have ‘live’ music on outside terraces

The Local Government Group has filed a motion to be discussed and passed at the next plenary session to once more request the Ministry of Justice and Home Affairs of the Junta de Andalucia to permit hotels in tourist towns to offer ‘live’ music on their terraces.

The current regulations do not allow for music on outdoor private terraces, only within the confines of the hotel itself. The proposal is to allow music between 20:00 and 24:00 during the summer season.

The Council made a similar request to the Junta de Andalucia some four years ago but it fell on deaf ears, as generally appears to be the norm.
