A 54-year-old cyclist died on Sunday morning after suffering a blow to the head as a result of a fall on the N-340 in Vélez-Málaga.
The incident occurred at around 11:45 on Sunday at km 262 of the N-340 coast road, several motorists reporting a motionless body on the road.
Medics who arrived on the scene were unable to do anything to save the life of the man.
