With regional elections in Andalucia scheduled for March 22nd it is hardly likely that requests to the Junta de Andalucia for action on ancient projects will have any effect, unless it could mean votes, but Nerja Council keeps plugging away.
The Council is yet again requesting the Junta de Andalucia to take the necessary steps so that work can be started on a new Health Centre, a project dating back many years now.
All previous requests, and even offers to start the project using municipal funds if necessary, have so far fallen upon deaf ears.
