Nerja’s town council approved unanimously two motions that request the Junta de Andalucía to increase the staff at the Nerja Health Centre
With regional elections in Andalucia scheduled for March 22nd it is hardly likely that requests to the Junta de Andalucia for action on ancient projects will have any effect, unless it could mean votes, but Nerja Council keeps plugging away.
The Council has approved yet another motion requesting the Junta de Andalucia to take the necessary steps to construct a Health Centre in Nerja.
The territorial delegate for Health, Daniel Pérez, has apparently confirmed that the Junta de Andalucia has no funds available for the construction of a new Health Centre in Nerja.
The government team will propose, and obviously approve, a new motion requesting a meeting to promote the construction of the Health Centre. The previous motion on this subject was way back in August 2013.
