Guardia Civil officers have arrested the occupant of a property in calle Vista Blanca in Cenes de la Vega after an explosion at the property on Sunday morning led to the discovery of a small cannabis plantation in the home.
The explosion occurred at 03:50 on Sunday morning and around a dozen residents of the building had to be evacuated until the fire had been extinguished. The occupant of the affected property, a twenty-year-old, suffered burns in the incident and had to be taken to hospital in Granada city.
Police discovered between 40 and 50 marijuana plants in the building.
Once the fire had been extinguished, an inspection of the building showed no apparent structural damage.
