The Caminito del Rey is expected to be officially inaugurated on March 28th and owners of restaurants, hotels and lodgings in the area are rubbing their hands with glee as 32,000 people have already booked online to visit the site.
Two new projects to construct rural complexes near Álora have reportedly already been proposed and other investors have also apparently expressed interest in the area, although nothing has yet been agreed.
The two new projects are the renovation of an old farmhouse in El Puente to create 14 bungalows and the construction of a small hotel and 17 bungalows on the road to Valle de Abdalajis.
