Two separate garage fires within minutes of each other in the early hours of Saturday 28th March caused 15 persons to be evacuated from their homes. The first fire broke out in Arroyo de la Miel, Benalmadena at 03:41am and resulted in one car being burned and 8 persons being led from their homes as a safety precaution by firemen. At 03:46am the Andalucia Emergency System 112 received another call to a fire in Calle Panaderos, Torre del Mar where this time the fire damaged 11 cars and forced 7 people from their homes in the early hours whilst fire crews brought the blaze under control. None of the persons evacuated were reported injured.
