The Town Hall’s Department of Culture and the Department of Beaches, in collaboration with the Nerja Cave Foundation and the Nerja’s Cultural Action Association (ANAC) have launched the “biblio-playas” service one more year. From now through to the end of August, the service will be available from 11 AM to 2 PM and from 5 PM to 8 PM at the beaches of Burriana, La Torrecilla and El Salón.
This project was launched thirteen years ago and it became the first in the entire Costa del Sol, bringing reading to vacationers and town’s residents via the loan and exchange of books.
Aside from books and newspapers in several languages, visitors can obtain tourist information, board and beach games for the little ones and enjoy various activities during the summer season.
