December 15th is the deadline for anyone wishing to apply to occupy public roads for terraces for the whole of 2013. Those wishing to apply for certain periods, such as only for the summer season, have until February 28th 2013.

Applications to hold exhibitions in the Municipal Exhibition Hall in calle Cristo and the Sala Mercado in calle San Miguel during the period January to June 2013 can be made as from today and up to September 30th.
Applications to hold exhibitions in municipal facilities
From now until March 30th is the period for applications to hold exhibitions between July and December 2012 at either the Sala Mercado (Plaza de la Ermita) or the Sala Municipal (Almirante Ferrándiz).
Kiosks for 2012
From Wednesday February 8th to Monday February 20th is the period to make applications for the seasonal kiosks in various parts of the town, this year covering the extended period from March 30th to October 15th.
News for potential exhibitors
Anyone wishing to hold an exhibition in either the Sala Mercado in calle San Miguel or the Municipal Exhibition Hall in calle Cristo between January and June 2012 should make their applications between now and September 30th. Forms can be obtained from the Cultural Centre, Department of Culture, Citizen’s Advice Bureau or downloaded from the municipal website.
Two hundred applications for summer lifeguard vacancies
A total of 200 people, mostly under the age of 30 years, have applied for the 69 vacancies for summer lifeguards on the beaches of Nerja. The interviews and physical tests are due to start shortly.

From March 17th to March 26th is the period allocated for applications for the seasonal kiosks. This year will see 23 kiosks, three more than last year. Applicants must have five years residence in Neraj and may not be in receipt of a retirement pension.
