Call for more action to combat thefts in the Serrania de Ronda
The Association of Young Farmers, ASAJA, has called for more action from the security forces in the Serrania de Ronda to combat the increasing number of rural thefts of cattle, fruit and vegetables and farm machinery.
Disagreement over the price of olives
ASAJA, the Málaga Association of Young Farmers, has denied reports by the Federación Agroalimentaria of the UGT union that they are selling table olives at a price of €0.80, saying that the price of Hojiblanca olives has fallen to €0.33 in October.
Farmers protest in Sevilla
The agricultral association ASAJA has this morning distributed free of charge some 25,000 kilos of produce in Sevilla as a protest against the economic situation of the farming communities in Andalucía.
