Saturday September 17th is the Veladilla de San Miguel, the culmination of celebrations to mark the 50th anniversary of the Barriada de Las Protegidas (the area around Plaza de Andalucia) and a host of events and activities are planned.

The Barriada de Las Protegidas celebrates its 50th anniversary this year and the newly formed Neigbourhood Association is planning a number of commemorative events throughout the year.
