Winning streak comes to an end in Brno

Honda’s Dani Pedrosa won the Czech MotoGP to deny team-mate Marc Marquez a record 11th victory in a row, the reigning champion failing to make the podium in Brno with a fourth place finish.

Pedrosa wins in Brno

Honda rider Dani Pedrosa was able to pass title rival Jorge Lorenzo on the final corner to win the Czech Republic Grand Prix at Brno, with Lorenzo finishing second and Britain’s Cal Crutchlow in third. It is Pedrosa’s third victory of the season and he has cut Lorenzo’s lead at the top of the standings to just 13 points.

Stoner wins in Brno

Casey Stoner extended his lead at the top of the MotoGP standings with a comfortable win in the Czech Republic after being handed the lead on lap four when Spain’s Dani Pedrosa parted company with his machine.

Alvaro Bautista, showboating during his lap of honour after winning the 250cc race in Brno, managed to wreck his machine when his wheelie went wrong!
