Casey Stoner extended his lead at the top of the MotoGP standings with a comfortable win in the Czech Republic after being handed the lead on lap four when Spain’s Dani Pedrosa parted company with his machine.
Stoner eventually built up a 6.5 second lead over Andrea Dovizioso with Marco Simoncelli in third and reigning champion Jorge Lorenzo only managing fourth place. Stoner is now 32 points clear in the championship.
