A spokesperson for the government in Extremadura, Carmen Pereira, has confirmed that the bus involved in a fatal accident in Miajadas (Cáceres) on Wednesday was travelling at excessive speed.

In the early hours of this morning, a group of masked individuals set fire to a bus in San Sebastián, causing damage to a further nine vehicles.
