Out and About, July 9th 2013…
There are a few wild parakeets in the trees on the Balcón de Europa at the moment, squawking away like mad. There are usually two, sometimes more, police officers almost permanently stationed on the Balcón de Europa these days, presumably until the end of the summer.
A glimmer of hope…
It was somewhat strange, and a sad indictment in many ways, to see the almost permanent presence of a police car on the Balcón de Europa throughout the summer period, presumably mainly to ensure that no unauthorised buskers or artists dared entertain the locals and visitors.
