During the first half of 2011 a total of 3,376 kilos of used clothing has been collected in Nerja for the organisation Humana People to People Foundation. The amount collected increases each year, the total for the whole of last year being 6,575 kilos.

During 2009, a total of 16,900 kilos of used clothing were collected in Nerja ready to be sorted, processed and redistributed for various good causes.
