Around one hundred tourists had to be evacuated from their rooms at the Iberostar hotel (formerly the RIU) in Torrox Costa on Friday morning after fire broke out in one of the storage rooms.

The hotel chain Iberostar has now taken over the RIU Ferrara hotel in Torrox Costa. The hotel has 319 rooms, 94 apartments, restaurants, a club, sports facilities and direct access to the beach.
