A forest fire which destroyed 100 hectares of land in Huelva earlier this week was started intentionally, according to the authorities.
Two people, a 48-year-old woman and an 8-year-old girl were taken to hospital on Tuesday night following a fire on the fourth floor of an apartment block in calle Zancara, Málaga.
Early evidence suggests that the forest fire which started on Monday in the ‘El Pozuelo’ area of Zalamea La Real, Huelva, was started intentionally. Around 17 hectares of land was destroyed in the blaze, the largest fire in the province so far this year.
A forest fire that started at dawn on Saturday in a wooded area near Los Guájares, Granada province, and affected 200 hectares of land is thought to have been started intentionally.
A young girl is in a very serious condition and a 19 year old youth is in a serious condition following a fire in calle Palangre in the Atunera district of La Linea. The mother of the two children died in the fire.
