The Empresa Malagueña de Transportes (EMT), the company who run the bus service in Málaga, has announced that ticket prices are set to rise in January 2009. A regular bus ticket will cost €1.10, an increase of 10%. The rise is related to an increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI), diesel costs and interest rates.
