Rincón de la Victoria Council is spending €24,000 to repaint a number of pedestrian crossings and road markings within the municipality to improve safety for both pedestrians and motorists.
Fatal accident in the Su Eminencia district of Sevilla
A 78 year old man died on Saturday after falling from the second floor of a building in the Su Eminencia district of Sevilla. The man was painting the outside of his home when the accident occurred.

The Iglesia El Salvador on the Balcón de Europa is getting a well-deserved lick of paint this morning where the building works have been taking place in calle Carmen. New shrubs are also being planted along the paseo as it all begins to take shape.
Vélez-Málaga gets a paint job
The painters are out in Vélez-Málaga, repainting all the pedestrian crossings, white lines and other road markings. To avoid causing problems, busy streets such as avenida Vivar Téllez, Cristo, Canaleja, Reyes Católicos and Blas Infante in Vélez, and avenida de Andalucía in Torre del Mar, are being done at night.
Exhibition of paintings in Sayalonga
Until the end of this month, the Museo Morisco in Sayalonga is home to an exhibition of paintings by young nerjeña Verónica Gumersindo. There are 21 works on display and the exhibition hall is open daily from 10:00 – 14:00.
