A total of ten people died on the roads in Spain over the weekend, with another two being seriously injured. Year to date, 47 people have so far died in road traffic accidents, 2 fewer than last year.

There were twenty-nine deaths in twenty-six fatal accidents on the roads in Spain during the long ‘puente’ holiday, including Constitution Day (Dec 6th) and Immaculate Conception (Dec 8th), from 15:00 on Friday December 2nd to midnight on Thursday December 8th. A further fifteen people were seriously injured.

Todos Santos weekend road casualties

Twelve people died and five others were seriously injured on the roads in Spain over the Todos Santos ‘puente’ weekend, three of the fatalities being motorcyclists. Only one person died on the roads in Andalucia during the holiday weekend.

Fourteen people died on the roads in Spain over the weekend in twelve fatal accidents. A further four people were seriously injured. The most serious accident occurred in Marchena, Sevilla, where a couple and their one year old child died in a collision with a lorry.
