Good old movies…

La Sexta 3 are showing some good old movies every evening. The other day was Night of the Living Dead, so bad it becomes good, and tonight is Deliverance.

Nerja second in ‘Tu vista favorita’

Nerja, promoted by the singer and 2010 Tourist of Honour Pasión Vega, was the runner-up in the Grand Finale of the TV series ‘Tu favorita vista’ (my favouite view) which was broadcast on Cuatro on Friday evening. The winner was El Cañón de Río Lobos, in Soria, championed by David Bustamente.

Nerja on TV again

On Monday October 11th, Nerja will once again be featured in a TV programme, this time ‘Tu vista favorita’ (your favourite view) on Cuatro TV.

The TV cameras have been busy in Nerja, with the town being featured in the TVE1 programme La Mañana. Viewers had to guess where the TV crew were from shots of the town and a fairly easy clue given by Ayo on Burriana beach in an interview with Antón López.

TDT phase two

Another eight municipalities are due to say farewell to the old analogue TV system this week, these are Torremolinos, Vélez, Nerja, Coín, Monda, Torrox, Frigiliana and Guaro.

Telecinco and Cuatro to merge

TV channels Telecinco and Cuatro are to merge and form a new company in which Telecinco will have 81.7% share and Prisa 18.3%.

Full of surprises…

Very surprised by the results so far in a survey on the 20minutos website about what people consider to be the least appealing part of TV. My own pet hate are the 16 and 21 minute commercial breaks, far too many ads one after another. Sometimes, or quite often in fact, you get less than one minute of a programme …
