The State Meteorological Office (AEMET) has initiated an ‘orange alert’ in Almería and Granada and ‘yellow alert’ in Jaén for cold weather and snow as a cold Siberian weather front moves down to Spain.

Almería is today on ‘orange alert’ for heavy winds of up to 90 kph. Málaga and Cádiz are on ‘yellow alert’ for high winds and Granada and Jaén are on ‘yellow alert’ for both high winds and snow.
