Bad weather causing problems

Bad weather throughout the region has been causing all sorts of problems, from power outages to ships running aground. Several ferries between Algeciras and Ceuta and Tangier had to be cancelled because of storms and a Panamanian registered ship ran aground at El Rinconcillo beach in Algeciras. In Granada, around a dozen power lines were unable to cope with the weight of snow on them and collapsed, causing power outages in Baza, Guadix, Caniles and Gor. Sevillana-Endesa operators have been working through the night to repair the lines and a helicopter has been requested to access more remote areas. In Almeria, the bad weather continues to hamper the retrieval of the fourth and final body from the Helimer 207 helicopter which crashed in the bay. In Málaga city, strong winds have been causing billboards and even rooftops to fall. In avenida Muelle Heredia a tree was blown down and this caused problems for traffic in the area.
