Five people were injured on Monday after the last wagon of the tourist train in Torre del Mar overturned as it went round a corner.
At around 19:30, the tourist train, known locally as ´La Cochinita´, was at the roundabout at the junction of calle Azucarera and calle Doctor Fleming when the last coach overturned, spilling five passengers.
The five passengers were taken to hospital for a routine medical check. The injuries sustained by the accident victims were apparently bruises and mild abrasions.
In the meantime, the Mayor has ordered the suspension of the tourist train service until an investigation has been carried out to determine the cause of the accident.
