Smoke caused by a fire in a fryer in the kitchen of an hotel in Sotogrande, San Roque, on Monday evening necessitated the preventative evacuation of 140 people from the building.
The fire began at around 19:35 on Monday evening and caused thick smoke, particularly in the areas closest to the kitchens. The evacuations were carried out as a precautionary measure and there are no reports of any injuries.
