Late on Wednesday evening, the Guardia Civil was called to calle Prolongación Marbella in Aguilas, Murcia, after someone reported hearing gunshots.
Upon arrival, they found a 36 year old man lying on the path. He had been shot several times. Medics tried to revive him but they were unsuccesful and he died in the ambulance.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the man was stopped outside his home by a group of people and, for reasons as yet unknown, was shot several times. The attackers left the scene by car which is as yet untraced.
