El Salon beach in Nerja was a sea of white last night as thousands turned out to celebrate the first Fiesta Blanca.
The new fiesta on the Nerja calendar, the Fiesta Blanca, was held last night on El Salon beach with thousands turning up to celebrate. The vast majority were dressed in white, either totally or partly, and a good time was had by one and all.
Candles and lanterns lined the shore as well as being the predominant lighting means for the whole event, two large bars kept everyone well-oiled and music filled the air.
