The dispute between the Market Traders Association and the Nerja Council continues, the traders once again refusing to set up their stalls yesterday.
The dispute, relating to the new, but out of the way, site for the weekly market continues, with no market now in Nerja for the past nine weeks. Yesterday, the traders gathered outside the Town Hall to protest, a regular occurrence these days.
This time, however, the protest was authorised, the traders not wanting another hefty fine for holding an illegal demonstration.
There seems to be little progress being made towards resolving the dispute.
