Yesterday was ‘Dia del Turista’ in Nerja which began with the awarding of the Golden Shield for Tourism to Antonio Cortés Ramírez (runner-up in Canal Sur’s ‘Se Llama Copla’), was followed by the inauguration of the new Tourist Office and ended with a concert and a firework display.
The Tourist Office set up an information centre on the Balcón de Europa and several local organisations were invited to participate with stands to promote their services. These include4d the Nerja Caves, Hotel Al-Andalus and Life Adventure.
