Rather a strange event the Dia del Turista, sort of halfway between a non-event and a fiesta. Yes, the Tourist Office set up a stand on the Balcón de Europa and invited five local businesses to do likewise and yes, there was a late concert, but the ‘in between’ was a bit nondescript for me.
I would also question, as did a lot of others, the wisdom of scheduling the event to coincide with the popular Three Cultures Festival in neighbouring Frigiliana. It all just seemed a little half-hearted, although I’m sure many will disagree.
