A 53 year old Spanish woman was stabbed to death in Madrid in the early hours of Sunday morning, allegedly by her husband.
When the police and Emergency Services arrived at the house in calle Covarrubias in the Chamberí district of Madrid they found the woman suffering from several knife wounds. Despite their best efforts, they could not save her life.
The husband has been arrested as the alleged perpetrator of the stabbing.
