The National Police has located and detained the alleged perpetrator of a vicious attack which occurred a few days ago outside a bar in Antequera.
Two men were having a discussion in a bar which started to get very heated and an argument ensued. Then, outside the bar, one of the men broke a bottle, calmy slit the throat of the other man and then fled the scene.
The victim was rushed to hospital and underwent emergency and is now recovering in the Intensive Care unit.
Witnesses to the incident were able to provide sufficient information for the National Police to identify the alleged assailant and arrest him. The detainee, 30 year old Julio L.A., has been remanded in custody by the local court. He has been charged with attempted murder.
