A total of six Local Police officers in Marbella have been detained to answer charges of assault, rape and failure to report a crime after a complaint was made by a local prostitute.
Two officers were arrested on Sunday and are currently being held in custody, the other four were detained yesterday but were later provisionally released.
The woman made her complaint to her own Local Police on Friday, but it took until Sunday to identify and locate the two officers responsible for the alleged crimes.
Marbella Council will consider suspending the officers if the Court upholds the charges.
