A total of 15 people have so far been detained in ‘Operación Gorrión’, a year-long investigation into drugs trafficking in Valencia. The detentions coincided with the arrival of a shipment of 60 kilos of cocaine in the port of Valencia.
Two of the detainees are Guardia Civil officers from the Tavernes Blanques barracks in Valencia. Further arrests have not been ruled out.
