The current police operation against ETA has continued with the searching of houses belonging to three of the detainees.
Following the arrest of six suspected ETA members, including Aitzol Iriondo, the successor to Garikoitz Aspiazu ‘Txeroki’ as military chief of the organisation, police have been searching homes belonging to the three alleged ETA members detained in Irún.
The homes of Egurrola San Andrés, Amets Ladislao González and Javier Gutiérrez Jiménez, located in Getxo and Leioa, were searched in the presence of the detainees and several boxes containing documents were seized by the police.
