The new roundabout at the junction of calle Azucarera, calle Verdemar calle Doctor Fleming in Torre del Mar comes into use today.
The €60,000 project was designed to alleviate traffic congestion in the area as well as to improve pedestrian safety. This is a busy area with a lot of traffic and was, until now, a very dangerous area for pedestrians as there were no traffic lights anywhere to allow safe crossing of the roads.
