The owner of a cafe in calle Reñidero, Vélez-Málaga, suffered second-degree burns to his hands and forehead after a fire occurred on the premises.
José Antonio Fernández was making churros on Sunday evening when the fryer caught fire. National Police officers arriving on the scene cleared out butane gas bottles and other items to avoid the spread of flames and the Fire Brigade then extinguished the blaze.
